i'm just curious, about what all of you think about people of different races getting married.  my family is southern and is so set in their ways and i learned to think for myself several years ago (as in don't believe something is true just because someone in my family says it is) and so my belief doesn't exactly line up with theirs, and i often get yelled at because of it (not fun) anyways, i'll tell you what i believe and then i'd love for yall to tell me what you believe...i think there is nothing in the Bible against it, we all originally came from Adam and Eve, and then again from Noah and his wife... but there are some other things to consider before marrying someone of a different race...ex. your children, will they be endlessly teased, or will the culture differences be too great to overcome...and will the children have to endure grandparents that don't like one of their parents...so i really think its up to the couple, but its not for me (because i've been told i can't, and i don't think i could do that to my kids)...i'd love to hear what the rest of you think though...

I think interracial marriages are okay. I have nothing against them because I myself am two different cultures- but not two different races. My sister is two different races however.

I honestly see nothing wrong with it. I'd like to see everyone else's opinion though.

I don't think there is any problem with it whatsoever. If people hadn't marriage and procreated interracially, we all would not be here. Americans are a vast mix of races and ethnicities. Know what I mean? Why should we say that we cannot marry outside of our "race" just because people of other races look different or for any other reason?

i didn't really have any opinion on this until this past week, when a friend of mine said she wouldn't go out with some guy because of his race. *don't get me wrong. we're both too young to date. but just her view on it bugged me.*
i think that we are all equal. you know? like somebody said earlier, we all came from Adam and Eve. so why should it matter what race we are?

in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with it.
