Nobody else seems to be posting... So I figure why not? Here goes nothing...

Doubts are something that I personally CONSTANTLY struggle with. They are something that are "a part of everyone's battle." (I put that in quotes because nobody I've ever heard of talks about it. Ever.) Anyways. Here come the questions...

When you recognize Satan, in what ways do your thoughts change? How does that help you to deal with the situation?

Have you had any experiences with doubt, and if so, how did you overcome it?

How does the Lord remind you of His presence in your life?

'"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."'

1. Not sure how to answer this.

2. I've had lots of doubts about my personal relationship with Christ. I have ammo against Satan in that respect though. All I gotta do is look back at the day that I accepted Christ as my Savior and say "Take that!" About doubting God in general? I sometimes doubt God, but I usually get a fresh "smack in the face" showing me that God is real and that He loves me.

3. He does so much. He takes care of me and makes sure that I have food to eat, gas to get to school, and I am healthy. Praise God!

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Now that I re-read that, I could see how it's worded weird. With the first question, let me try to rephrase it...

Simply, I think i was trying to ask how you respond to Satan with your thoughts and actions. Thoughts... like "hate the sin, love the sinner."

But it might not make any sense. So just ignore the first question if you have to. =)

Gotcha. My answer would be:

1. I quote this bit of scrïpture to Satan: ""Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything."

I AM a Christian and all things are permissible for me through Christ. That is, God looks past all my faults and my sins. But really, what does it profit me OR God if I continue to sin? Nothing.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

1. Fight back. Satan is trying to hold me back, take me from the Lord. Start praying and telling Satan to leave.

2. Same as one.

3. A nice sunset. A really meaningful song. My brother singing worship songs while playing his guitar. Breakthrough moments when I finally comprehend things I thought I would never understand or feel completely.

"The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accourd. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again." John 10:17-18
