People nowadays seem to think that anything that is "clean" and mentions God is Christian. I went to a concert tonight for 3 "Christian" bands and I was very disappointed by what I heard. Half of the songs had nothing to do with God and the other half weren't made to worship God, but instead to sing about Him...which I guess is okay. I prefer music that is used to worship Him, though.

What do you all think? What makes a movie, book, or music Christian? Do these things have to have Christian connotations? Be written by a Christian? Be about God? Be written to teach about God?

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

I think that it needs to show God's love to the listeners, viewers, etc. Kinda like Christians do.

Those who say it can't be
done need to get out of the way of
those who are doing it.

told you i'd just jump in...
i think for something to be Christian then it has to be Christlike, considering that's what the word Christian means...Christian books need to center around the Christian faith, not around the action, or mystery, or romance...ect.  but about the main character's faith, and how that person reacts to the different situations he/she faces in the book...Christian music needs to glorify God completely, that's really all there is to it, or at least what i think.
