I cried for a little bit. I had counted so much on getting in. But then I suddenly started getting really angry. Now I just feel... still kind of angry, but sort of blah. They haven't heard the last of me, though. I'll be back next year. | ||||||||

Yah, and we don't even know why I got rejected. My band teacher's been making phone calls, trying to figure out what was wrong, but I think I already know what the problem was. | ||||||||

No, I don't think so. The day after we mailed in my audition, I read in the audition booklet that all the songs in the audition material were to be recorded as seperate songs. When we recorded my audition, we had everything down on one song. Doing that is an automatic disqualification. I don't know if the man who recorded my audition edited the cd so that everything was a different song, but I doubt it. | ||||||||

Yah. But I'll be back. I'll get it right next year. But as for this year, my band teacher said he was going to nominate me for some honors festival held at EWU. Which means I get in automatically. Not what I wanted, but still pretty cool. | ||||||||
