Read this in my Brio devotional today and thought it was funny:


“Hello? You’ve reached Men ‘R’ Us. How can I help you?”

“Yes, I’d like to order a man, please.”

“Certainly. Have you received our latest catalog?”

“Yes. I’m most interested in Man Model #634AR.”

“What size would you prefer?”

“Five foot eleven and a half. One hundred eighty pounds.”

“Extroverted or introverted?”

“Extroverted.”

“Religion?”

“Born-again Christian.”

“Future career?”

“Missionary pilot.”

“Would you like to add any bonus features?”

“Please. I’ll take the flowers once-a-week feature, and the good athlete option.”

“Anything else?”

“I noticed this model comes with belching talent. Could you remove that?”

“Of course. We’ll have him shipped to you in about two weeks. Will this be on Visa or MasterCard ma’am?”

If only it were that easy.

yeah, it probably would be really expensive. i do have some money saved up, though...not that it does any good seeing as how there is no such thing as men r us. lol but it was still funny.
