How many of you like Build a Bear? I love it; it's just so darn expensive. I found an alternative to Build A Bear called Stuff a Friend. Basically, you buy the stuff and you get to stuff it at home and add clothes, shoes, voice chips, etc. to make it your own. A typical Build a Bear costs around $40 with clothes and accessories. A typical Stuff a Friend costs around $25 with clothes and accessories. If you had the money, would you be interested in buying a Stuff a Friend?

I am thinking about starting my own Stuff a Friend business so I just want your opinions. Please add a comment on this and vote.

A bear, horse, etc. just by itself is only $6-10 but the accessories cost a little more. Would you please vote?

Oh. I didn't think of that. Have you ever done a build a bear? It's kinda like that, except you (or someone else) stuffs the bear and zips him up.

Oh, okay. I was just thinking that stuffing a friend would be kinda mean and uncalled for.

One thing I thought of would be for me to stuff them and send them out for those who feel that it would be awkward or weird, especially for younger children. Then, they could do everything else, like put the clothes on and fill out the "birth certificate."

so how is this idea going?
i love build a bear, never really thought of it as expensive though.

I have always thought of Build A Bear as expensive b/c the CLOTHING is super-expensive there. I got a stuffed bunny for my 19 bday and the bunny was only $18, but with clothes and everything, it was $56!!!!! That's a lot for one stuffed animal!

I love build-a-bear, I have one but only one pair of clothes for it. When you get a build-a-bear you also get $5 gift cards on your birthday so it is pretty great. I haven't bought new clothes for my build-a-bear yet but I will get to that once I have money.
